JACQUE

Jacque (b.1997, Scotland) lives in Cumbernauld. Jacque has a multi-disciplinary approach which primarily includes sculpture, with complimentary works in writing and video creating installations. Through exploring the contrast between manmade and the natural environments she has created an imagined world through a virtual Installation. Her artwork was inspired by the book Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino and philosophical ideas of Panpsychism. Jacques work is a juxtaposition and a play on the imagination of the everyday whilst having undertones of our impact on the world above and below.

Jacque has recently been to Cove Park on residency in January 2020. Group exhibitions include; What!, Stirling Tollbooth 2019; Journey, MacrobertsArts Centre, Stirling, 2018; Tracks, Engine Shed Stirling, 2017.
