Glancy's work focuses on emotions, thoughts and feelings which are primarily based on her own as she uses her work as a creative outlet, almost like a diary. She does this in a variety of ways which often includes paint, mixed media or more recently photography. Currently, she uses art-directed photography to portray issues and topics of interest to her. She often explores dark and taboo themes as can be seen in her most recent piece.
This piece portrays just how dark an obsession such as stalking can be. It is created in order to portray a creepy yet unsettling atmosphere and to evoke despair and fear in the viewers of the work.
